Our solution is a low-cost customized growing set up for high value saffron and exotic vegetable cultivation indoor with environment control, using Vertical Aeroponic and Hydroponic techniques. IoT based automation will be integrated in the set up for control on environment and cultivation practices to ensure expected yield level and produce quality. The produce from the set up would be pesticide and chemical residue free. The solution would be most suitable for urban farming and would engage qualified unemployed youth and idle women to create agri-enterprise and become self-dependent, at the same time offering higher value proposition to the consumers. Hydroponics & Aeroponic are soilless farming technique that uses nutrient-rich water solutions to grow plants. Hydroponic & Aeroponic systems require less water, space, and resources compared to conventional farming. They also enable year-round cultivation, higher crop yields, and faster growth rates. The system can be based on container, poly house, net house or closed room.
