EncX Resources Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech clean-tech startup incorporated as a private limited company. The company is focused on developing and commercialising an innovative waste-to-energy solution by converting non-recyclable XLPE-grade plastic waste into high-quality Renewable Fuel Oil (Plastic Pyrolysis Oil – PPO) through an advanced thermo-chemical pyrolysis process. EncX addresses two critical national challenges simultaneously: (i) effective end-of-life management of difficult-to-recycle plastic waste, and (ii) providing a cleaner, indigenous alternative industrial fuel that reduces dependence on imported crude oil. The solution is aligned with key Government of India initiatives including Swachh Bharat Mission, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Net Zero 2070 targets, circular economy principles, and multiple Sustainable Development Goals. The core technology is based on a patented catalytic pyrolysis process developed by an individual inventor and leveraged by EncX. Proof-of-concept has been successfully established. A stabilised pilot plant with a capacity of 20,000 litres per month has been operational for the last 11+ months at the company’s Wada facility. The technology currently stands at TRL 5, with the pilot output tested in controlled conditions on generators and boilers. The company is now scaling the process from batch to continuous modular operation with a target capacity of 100,000 litres per month in the next phase. This scalable, decentralised model is designed to create local employment, support MSME entrepreneurs through technology licensing, and generate wealth while delivering significant environmental benefits.
