Enercosm is a technology startup that aims to develop and commercialize sustainable products for the oil and gas industry and agricultural sector. We also provide knowledge-based consultancies on technology development with specific needs of the oil and gas industry. The overall aim is sustainable development of industry to reduce the burden of oil import on the country and meet societal needs for sustainable agriculture. Our company is incorporated under the Companies Act, Government of India, as a Private Limited entity. Initially working for North-western oil fields and desert land, we aim to develop technologies across India and abroad with Sustainable Development Goals. Our current focus is on validation of technologies related to the two industries: (1) In the oil and gas sector, we are in the process of developing environment-friendly oil field formulation that can increase the oil recovery from mature/marginal fields by 7%, which counts to thousands of barrels of extra oil (that is also without using harmful chemicals). (2) In the agriculture sector, we have developed a formulation that can increase water hydration and particle aggregation property of the sand leading to agriculture of both food and cash crops in deserts of western Rajasthan.
