Energy Efficiency and Environment Private Limited is engaged in the business of development and commercialization of renewable energy technologies (RETs). Energy, Efficiency and Environment are the Company’s key focus areas. The objective is to develop innovative RETs for generating energy in the most efficient manner contributing towards a eco-friendly environment. The Company also provides consultancy for integrated energy planning and optimization of RETs which use renewable energy sources such as biomass and solar. The Company has recently also added to its portfolio or products and services – the production of green hydrogen through advanced biomass-steam gasification technology. Reducing dependence on fossil fuel consumption, mitigating Green House Gas emissions and contributing towards a sustainable environment are the vision of the company. There are some key solutions developed by the Company:- 1) Developed various systems and technologies including: a. A multi-stage biomass-steam (MSBS) gasification technology for the production of syngas – an eco-friendly fuel having green hydrogen as its primary component. b. A biomass pyrolizer system for the production of bio-char and bio-oil c. Various biogas plants for production of combustible gas d. A solar cook-stove which operates on a concentrated heating system as compared to the conventional system of direct solar heating 2) Supporting government bodies and private institutions in undertaking studies for assessment of the availability and the feasibility for use of biomass/renewable energy sources in various territories; and 3) Contributing to the development of internal combustion engines.
