Altifarm: The all-season modular home farm, is an innovative product/platform, which allows city-dwellers to grow food at home around the year with ease. Altifarm is the first product which lets you grow serious amount of fresh produce at home with minimal effort - farm-fresh vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, micro-greens, fruits etc. It takes care of essential aspects of watering, light, space, plant care etc mostly on its own. Altifarm comprises of 4-tiers with integrated self-watering system, resting on a heavy-duty steel frame. The integrated Self-watering system, stores water for up to a week and lets plants decide how much water they need, allowing one to grow locally-grown fresh food devoid of pesticides, chemicals, GMO etc. We also have many Expansion Packs for you to "Grow like a Pro''. These expansion packs (Grow light pack, Greenhouse Pack, Mobility Pack & Germination Pack) rather make it a product platform which tackles all the pain-points of urban farming. Being developed over 3 years, Altifarm was first unveiled in October 2016 at the Green Building Congress 2016 at Mumbai. It became one of India’s biggest success in global crowdfunding space, where it raised over $125,000 from over 40 countries, in pre-orders in just over a month. Altifarm was the first exhibitor from India at the Independent Garden Centre show- IGC2017, at Chicago in August 2017. Chosen as Top50 start-ups to watch out for in 2018, by Economic Times/ET-Rise.
