EnviLedge aims to accelerate the nationwide as well as global adoption of the most critical lever of net zero roadmap i.e. "Carbon Capture, utilization, and Storage (CCUS)" by Hard to Abate Sectors through converting the process of carbon captor from being a liability to an investable asset. Unlike all the current levers of net zero roadmap like energy efficiency, alternative fuels etc. where carbon mitigation is indirect and comparative, CCUS generates a physical and tangible liquid CO2 that needs higher degree of value chain visibility as well as it needs to be treated as a commodity. Hence, captured CO2 by CCUS has higher inherent value and needs a whole new immutable digital infrastructure to unlock the same rather than its treatment as carbon credits. Our startup will establish the Blockchain (the most disruptive trust and immutable technology) based captured carbon repository through integration of industrial plants (commissioning/operating CCUS technology) by Proprietary IoT - Edge Computing - Cloud integration infrastructure. The blockchain based carbon repository will mitigate the existing leakages in carbon market and transfer the benefits of CCUS adoption to hard to abate sectors through conversion of this repository as an investable digital asset hence, helping Industries adopting CCUS to recover their high dead investment in building CCUS infrastructure.
