At Mayug, we are addressing one of India’s most overlooked healthcare needs: postpartum recovery. Despite over 2.5 crore births every year, support for mothers after delivery remains inadequate, leaving women vulnerable when they need care the most. Our mission is simple yet urgent—to restore dignity and safety to motherhood through clinically tested, user-friendly products and recovery kits that relieve pain, speed healing, and bring comfort in the first 40 days and beyond. By blending trusted traditions with modern science, we ensure no mother has to “make do” in her most delicate phase. With Startup India’s support, Mayug will scale manufacturing, expand access nationwide, and create new employment across Indian supply chains. As we grow, our future phases will also gently extend into baby care—ensuring that both mother and child are nurtured with the same standard of thoughtful, world-class care. Our mission is deeply aligned with the Government of India’s Ayushman Bharat initiative, strengthening maternal and child health outcomes and reducing long-term healthcare burdens. Internationally, Mayug contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), by prioritizing women’s health, empowerment, and dignity. Mayug is more than a brand—it is a movement to give every new mother, and soon every new family, the care they deserve, while advancing India’s national health priorities and global commitments.
