Indian Languages Global Platform (ILGP) is eWandzDigital’s flagship product. The aim of this product is to create an ecosystem that leverages the unprecedented growth in media and entertainment to provide employment to native Indian language speakers. This will generate employment for people who are graduates/undergraduates from various States of India and who don’t have any professional degrees or high exposure to technology or global languages. With the boom in demand for digital content across the world, and the leap India has taken in terms of internet bandwidth and IT infrastructure, there is a huge focus by global giants like Netflix, AmazonPrime, HBO, Apple to provide content to Indian audiences, but they face huge challenges with localization for our audiences because of language challenges. This is where ILGP comes in. ILGP aims to provide adaptation services such as subtitling, captioning and dubbing, in Indian languages, to the global giants. It will be a platform where Indian language experts, from every nook and corner of our incredible nation, will be trained and skilled and then employed to perform these jobs. As of now, this industry in India is very fragmented and people are doing jobs as an individual contributor/freelancer on contract basis for various agents/companies. ILGP will enable skilling and employment, and also help streamline the unorganized sector that currently operates and struggles on this front.
