In their own words
Our project Neuro-Exoheal combines neuroscience and robotics to help patients recover 30% faster. It solves the problems lacking in the already existent rehabilitation devices. Neuro-ExoHeal incorporates the concepts of neuroplasticity and mirror learning into a rehabilitation routine that utilizes an exoskeleton. Our beneficiaries include post-stroke patients with monoplegia, hemiplegia, and soon diplegia. Neuro-Exoheal has been in development for the past 5 years. It has undergone rigorous testing under the supervised condition. We had developed the doctor communication application at the Misk Hackathon. We are currently developing adaptive algorithms via machine learning to incorporate a feature that would automatically adjust the level of assistance provided by the exoskeleton based on the patient’s progress to maximize the patients' recovery. We've been recognized and awarded at various international Platforms including but not limited to: 1st Place Social Innovation Category - Diamond Challenge 2020 (World's biggest high school entrepreneurship competition) Two-time Global Finalist at The Google Science 2016 & 2019 (World's biggest Science Fair) 2nd place Adi Shankara Young Scientist Award 2019 (international Science Fair) Spark Innovation Award 2019 (South India's biggest Science Fair) Nominated as a Global Teen leader Publications: You and I Diamond Challenge We are a family Foundation
