It functions as a social enterprise, with a mission to create content that addresses critical issues such as women’s rights, mental health, environmental sustainability, child nutrition, and road safety. The company seeks grants and donations to support the creation of socially relevant films, documentaries, and projects. Filmeraa Studios has gained recognition for its original content, winning multiple festival awards and earning a Filmfare nomination for its short film Lunch Stories. The studio has worked with prominent actors and filmmakers, including Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, and Paribhasha Mishra, while also gaining international attention for its content.
