In their own words
At Farm Lyceum we aim to create a system that is beneficial for the consumers and to the farmers. We want to empower farmers, enlighten consumers and connect them via a technology-driven trust and transparent-based supply chain management where consumers can track their food from the stage of sowing till it reaches their plate. We want to solve the glaring problems of farmers by providing them with capital, training and creating market linkages for them, effectively reducing the role of the middle man in the supply chain. We are trying to forge a solution that enables us to pass on 60 percent of what the consumer pays directly to the grower or the maker of the food leading to a sustainable growth of the farmers. Our vision is to transform the Farmers to Farmtrepreneurs (Farmer-Entrepreneurs). Coming to the consumer side, we want to solve the predicament faced by the consumers. They have to consume agricultural produce that is full of chemicals. Through our products and initiatives, we not only want to reduce the hazards of consuming such produce but we also want to create a better and more sustainable environment. We aim to introduce more Sustainable and Environment conservative practices and at the same time make the supply chain more transparent for the consumers so that they not only have the ability to track their food throughout the supply chain but be able to eat fresh, nutritious and chemical free food. This will not only ensure the provision of healthy and chemical free food to the consumers but it will also help to counter the impacts of COVID19, as availability of foods at your doorstep reduces the need for commuting unnecessarily along with reduction in carbon footprints.
