Farmey is a agri-marketplace designed to directly connect farmers with verified vendors of fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides. The platform addresses two critical gaps in the agricultural supply chain: lack of price transparency and limited direct market access. Today, farmers often rely on local dealers, leading to inconsistent pricing, limited product choices, and trust issues regarding quality. On the other side, manufacturers and large wholesalers struggle to efficiently reach and serve fragmented rural demand. Farmey eliminates intermediaries by enabling farmers to discover, compare, and purchase agri-inputs directly from trusted vendors through a digital platform. This not only ensures better pricing and product authenticity for farmers but also helps vendors expand their reach without increasing operational complexity. The platform is initially focused on Gujarat, with a scalable model designed for expansion across India. By streamlining procurement and improving transparency, Farmey aims to build a more efficient and trustworthy agri-supply ecosystem. Our long-term vision is to become the default procurement layer for farmers, driving cost efficiency, increasing vendor accessibility, and digitizing one of the largest yet underserved markets in India.
