FidelFolio Investments Introduction: FidelFolio Investments is data backed asset management & wealth advisory firm offering ML based equity portfolio, asset allocation and goal-based investing at low cost. Our system that generates 1mn strategies, each suitable for a certain investment need, has been trained with 30+ years of financial data with over 10cr datapoints. We aim to disrupt the asset management and wealth advisory space through effective use of technology in core investment philosophies. Problem: Personalized Wealth Advisory and investment options are currently not available to retail clients due to the following reasons: Asset Management outfits have not upgraded investment process - Use of ML / AI for investment research has not been adopted by the existing asset management outfits - Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs because a) they are slow to act, b) their DNA is not tech, c) they are large in size and thus take time to move. We believe there is a huge first mover advantage of tech adoption in field of investment research which even large size will find difficult to catch up Wealth advisory is Uneconomical in traditional format at low ticket size - Low fee due to the low-ticket size for retail segment make it uneconomical to provide advisory service in traditional format Limited Digital Offering - Wealth management product for retails investors, mass affluent and accredited investors with digital transparent offering is in nascent stage in our country Black box Algorithm - Existing digital wealth advisors & Robo advisors rely on black box algorithm for making investments, which raises the critical problems of transparency, understanding the driver of recommendations and thus the limitations Not 100% personalized yet - Customization of solutions to wealth needs of each individual is in its very early stage Solution: Solution comprises the following modules: ML powered equity portfolio with human oversight - Use of tech for investment research, Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment capabilities, with human oversight to make objective framework-based investment decisions Digital Offering of wealth services - Wealth management needs of retail investors, mass affluent and accredited investors with a digital, transparent offering Ease of Use in onboarding & tracking - Seamless digital onboarding providing goal-based wealth tracking, Asset Allocation and equity portfolio construction in system driven error free manner
