In their own words
"The rural sector is the backbone of the Indian economy. According to the 2022 census, 65% of the country's population still lives in rural areas. When it comes to the development and provision of basic facilities, rural sectors of India have been mostly overlooked by the government and the metropolitan population. The issues that the rural population faces are not confined to a lack of a roof over their heads, but also a complete lack of even the most basic requirements like the availability of medicines, and groceries. Compared to Urban areas, villages endure a severe lack of resources on a daily basis. The requirements of the villages, like those of the cities, grow by the day. Although the rural sector is gradually catching up with the technological developments happening across the country, there are significant gaps in connectivity that hamper their growth. In contrast to the heavily populated urban areas, the population in rural regions is quite dispersed. A person living in the cities has easy access to public transportation around the corner or they can use their own vehicle to travel. Public transportation in the rural sector, however, is scant and unreliable. People have to wait for long hours each time they need to travel to the nearest town as the bus service is irregular and any other public transportation isn’t consistent. Moreover, most of them do not have enough resources to pay up for the fuel even if they do happen to have a vehicle. Unlike the cities where one can find multiple grocery stores in the neighborhood, village dwellers merely have 2-3 shops scattered across the area. Therefore, each time they need to purchase the most basic daily requirements such as groceries, medicines, food, and agricultural equipment, they need thorough planning as it is a task that takes up the majority of their day. They have to exert considerable effort and hike across the village to reach the local shops each time they need to buy something. City-dwellers too, avoid traveling to rural areas due to such challenges. Rural ‘Bharat’ is much different from ‘India’ in many ways. It is more geographically dispersed, and people in Bharat have distinct mindsets than those in urban regions. The solutions that work in cities may not work in rural settings. The lower literacy levels, lack of proper education, and technological know-how further contribute to the challenges. Although, the positive factor here is that the villagers have high aspirations. They are very responsive and willing to learn new things that will help to elevate their life. Another challenge in the rural sector is the issue of connectivity. Rural India is demographically dispersed, whereas urban India is densely populated. Thus, it is highly challenging to connect the rural sectors with the facilities that are available in nearby towns. Moreover, village dwellers are reluctant when it comes to something new or different. Villagers resist change, not because they don’t want progress, but rather because they lack knowledge and proper guidance. Therefore, it is important to build trust with them before introducing any new technology. To resolve the problems of connectivity and the non-availability of basic necessities and services, we have set up an affordable delivery service that caters to the rural sectors of India. Our team of delivery boys is trained to communicate well and convince the villagers to rely on them for their needs. Once the villagers became aware of the process, they saw it as a significant breakthrough and began connecting with us on a daily basis. Once our work began, we noticed that the percentage of calls or orders received was higher from women than from men. With the aim of creating employment and helping them generate more revenue, we formed a team of women representatives to provide us feedback on the progress and discuss the implementation of our next moves. This further prompted us to include women in our project. Thus, with an aim to empower women within the villages, we gave them an opportunity to become representatives of their own villages and further contribute to the development of their area. By providing seamless connectivity with the help of our delivery team, we have enabled the local shopkeepers to easily reach their customers and provide better, faster services. Local stores have reported an increase in sales due to the recurring business and have managed to double their income in a short period of time. "

What we do not know
- no funding signal of any kind
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A startup existing here means a startup exists, not that a business is trading.
