FIREUP COOKWARE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
Delhi, Delhi
In their own words
FIREUP Cookware India makes scientifically engineered, ultra-efficient, gas-saving cookware cookware for the Indian market. What's different? Standard cookware only heats from the bottom, resulting in inefficient heating and uneven cooking and losing 60% heat. Our fin design guides heat across the bottom and up the sides of the cookware, heating upto 44% faster and cooking more evenly. The core technology, co-developed with Professor Thomas Povey of Oxford University's Department of Engineering Science, applies fin-based thermal engineering originally developed for jet turbine cooling, to the base and walls of a cooking vessel. The result is cookware that consumes measurably less LPG than any conventional alternative. India is FIREUP's primary market: with 332 million LPG-dependent households, no other country in the world stands to benefit more from a genuine breakthrough in cooking energy efficiency. FIREUP India is developing an India-specific product range, including an accessible aluminium non-stick line, engineered for Indian cooking methods, Indian flame intensities, and Indian household economics.
