Our startup is dedicated to developing next-generation fluorescence-based imaging systems that empower surgeons with real-time visualization of critical anatomy during complex procedures. Surgical decision-making often depends on identifying structures such as blood vessels, lymphatics, and tumor margins with precision. Existing imaging tools can be expensive, bulky, or provide limited intraoperative detail, creating gaps in safety and accuracy. We aim to bridge this gap with a handheld, portable device that uses indocyanine green (ICG) and other safe fluorophores to illuminate tissue perfusion, vascular flow, and lymphatic drainage. The system is engineered to be lightweight, cost-effective, and adaptable across a range of surgical specialties, including oncology, transplant, vascular, and gastrointestinal surgery. By integrating high-sensitivity optics with intuitive software, our device enables surgeons to visualize sentinel lymph nodes, assess tissue viability, and guide resections in real time without disrupting workflow. Unlike conventional systems, which are often restricted to large tertiary centers due to cost and infrastructure needs, our platform is designed for broad accessibility, particularly in low- and middle-income settings. Our mission is to democratize surgical imaging—bringing affordable, reliable fluorescence guidance to operating rooms worldwide and ultimately improving patient outcomes through safer, more precise surgery.
