The Umeed Fabrication & Training Centre (UFTC) is going to start with 20 industrial grade sewing machines along with other modern fabrication equipment required in PPE Kit manufacturing. The UFTC’s will work on 100% self-sustainable model and will be a reliable bulk supply vendor. Objective • To manufacture and supply the Personal Protective equipment of WHO/GOI standard at lowest cost to Medical professionals, government, not for profit and profit agencies engaged in #COVID19 • To create an alternative for conscious consumerism by forming a Low-cost brand for medical community in #COVID19 • To support empowerment of women through sustainable Financial and livelihood opportunities and improvement in quality of life • To train the women in fabrication, artisan, tailoring skills recognised and at a later stage get the same certified under DDU-GKY • To provide platform for Conscious decision making by women towards community empowerment leading to Nation building • To provide manufacturing sustainably though skill development as per industry trends.
