Gaba Tea Private Limited is an innovative tea startup dedicated to producing high-quality GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) tea, a unique and scientifically enriched tea known for its health benefits, including stress reduction, improved brain function, and better sleep. Currently, India does not have a commercial GABA tea manufacturing facility, and our startup aims to bridge this gap by leveraging advanced fermentation techniques and scientific research in collaboration with CSIR-NEIST BioNest, Jorhat. Our proprietary process enhances the natural amino acid content in tea, making it a healthier alternative to conventional teas. We focus on sustainable and organic cultivation while incorporating biotechnological advancements to develop a superior product. Additionally, we are exploring the potential of tea extract production and innovative freeze-drying methods to enhance shelf life and quality. Our goal is to position India as a global hub for high-amino acid functional teas, catering to health-conscious consumers and export markets. By integrating scientific research with traditional tea production, we aim to revolutionize the tea industry while promoting sustainable agriculture and rural employment.
