Kalikai Astrarakshak Defence Technologies Private Limited is a defence and aerospace technology startup from Northeast India focused on developing indigenous solutions for the Army, Navy, Air Force, paramilitary, and homeland security sectors. Established with the vision of strengthening India’s self-reliance in defence technology, the startup develops portable drone power stations, tactical energy systems, UAV support infrastructure, robotics, surveillance technologies, and mission-ready defence equipment for remote and operational environments. Being based in Northeast India, a region with challenging terrain, border-sensitive areas, and strategic importance, the startup understands the real operational difficulties faced in difficult weather, remote deployment zones, and limited infrastructure conditions. This practical understanding drives the development of rugged, portable, and field-deployable defence technologies suitable for high-altitude, border, jungle, and emergency operations. The company is also working on advanced aerospace and defence technologies including aircraft countermeasure systems such as flare-based protection systems for fighter jets and military aircraft against infrared-guided missile threats. Kalikai Astrarakshak Defence Technologies aims to contribute to India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat missions by building innovative defence systems designed and developed in India for modern security challenges
