Introduction - Gabbit Systems is a startup that provide a smart technology platform that uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, Location Technology and Stakeholders collaboration, to solve many critical challenges related to safety, security and monitoring, in a pro-active manner so that timely action can prevent the incident. 2. Problem Statement - Traditionally safety & security solutions are based on reactive approach (i.e. help after incident) using various methods & technologies, such as - (a) Apps to provide help to victim after a distress call (b) Catch culprit using video feeds, location and call detail records from telecom companies (c) Manual search and many more …… All of these methods & technologies work independently and in their own silos. Data inputs from these are heterogenous in nature and needs to manually collated together. For a pro-active safety solution, there needs to be a tech driven system which can actively monitor the ground situation using inputs from different sources, and can provide timely information, alerts, warning so that the situation can be controlled before going worse. Gabbit Systems is solving the above problem using our patent-pending technology 3. Successful Pilot - We have a successful pilot in Uttarakhand state to provide "Safe & Secure" 4-Dham Yatra- in association with Govt & private tourism industry. Considered as one of the most complex tourism circuit (~1200 Km, visited by millions of tourists). Many tourists used to die every year, thousands died in Kedarnath tragedy in 2013. This is because hilly terrain, landslides, over-crowding, high altitude etc. The system is solving the problem of "Tourist Safety", "Tourist inflow management & Over-Tourism", Predictive Crowd & Path Analysis etc. . 4. How it Works - We uses a proactive & predictive approach where tourism region is monitored for various parameters (tourist volume, carrying capacity, queue conditions, weather, road condition etc) . A tourism region is virtually divided into multiple geofences. Each geofence has a virtual network of tourism stakeholders i.e. tourists, devices, government agencies, tourism fraternity. These virtual networks keep providing data both static & dynamic to the system using different interfaces. System then process this data using principles of Data Science, AI, ML, Location info etc to check upcoming threats, send information timely to stakeholders along with suggestions. 5. Results - ○ No Casualty due to Natural Calamities – Timely Info Saved 100s of Lives ○ Public Address System on Mobile App (Hits ~1.1 M) - Regular Road & Weather Updates, Alerts & Warnings, Landslide, Road Block Info, Queue & Waiting Time Info ○ Better Queue Management at Dhams using Registration ○ AI & ML Data to Learn & Predict “Trouble” Days - Tourist Inflow Pattern, Auspicious Days, Weekends, Weather Conditions, Local Fairs & Events Support from Tourism Fraternity including IATO, FICCI-Travel, UTPA, TIFTI, Hotel Associations 6. Awards & Recognitions - ○ Felicitated by Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India for responsible tourism. ○ Times Travel Award – Two Consecutive Years - 2019 and 2018 ○ Best use of ICT for Safety & Security - 2019 Safety & Security Initiative of the Year – 2018 at Smart City Conclave
