GlcfharmaK Biotech LLP is a small glycobiology based startup conducting innovative research in the development of novel therapeutics. Our primary focus is enabling post translational modification of proteins involved in glycosylation reactions for therapeutic interventions. Presently we are working on a novel diabetes drug candidate which has shown credible results on baseline assays conducted in comparison with type 2 diabetes drugs available in the market. We have a collaboration with BIG grant partner on an antibacterial formulation against gram negative bacteria causing Infectious diarrhoea. We won the Best Social Impact award project for startups in Bio startups 2019, selected for final 10 in Grand challenges India and were runners up in Eureka conducted by IIT Mumbai. There are 3 researchers working in the company with experience in Biochemistry, Molecular biology and Glycobiology.
