We are a startup Tea Brand by the name Desi Chai Co. (Tm). We deal in D2C category and our selling channels is only through online platform via our own website and other e-market. We are looking forward to expansion into global market. Our product consists of only Indian Chai ( CTC Teas) and blended Chai’s. We have 9 SKUs in our product list. We are based out of Assam and our sourcing channels are with STG’s ( Small Tea Growers) and agency Tea Estates. 60% of our sourced teas are rainforest alliance certified. The founders of the brand is duo of father and son both ex tea planter who always had a dream to launch a Tea Brand and to sale high quality teas into global market. Having an experience of more then 45 years has helped us to understand the need of quality and rights teas to make it available to the consumer directly being sourced from STG’s , this would also support the employment generation and generation of revenue among the STG workforce and allow them to present their crafted teas in global market through our brand. We have also taken the responsibility of labour and animal welfare by collaborating with the Assam forest department and garden and labour union management of our sourcing Tea estates as our CSR activity.
