In their own words
More than 2.6 billion metric tonnes of carbon are emitted every year in India, of which less than 30% is neutralized. So more than 70% of carbon emissions are still hanging around us as pollution. Current systems in India cannot cope with the volumes of carbon emitted by the activities of the increasing urban population, deforestation, and the impacts on the environment and public health. Since we don’t have a proper system for controlling carbon pollution, the only solution is to neutralize more carbon naturally by preserving existing trees and planting more trees. We start up with this great vision of preserving existing trees and planting new trees to decarbonize our country and make an impact on crafting a green India. We are developing an initiative-led digital platform that integrates solutions, awareness, training, and services to solve this problem. We are also focusing on building a technology-based process in this platform to tag the trees for measuring and improving our solution and impact. We are targeting to tag a minimum of 100 billion trees, including existing trees and new trees that we will plant in India in the next 25 years. We are initiating a socially committed project ‘100 billion Tree Imprint’ to achieve this target with the support of the government, NGOs, communities, and the public who is sharing the same vision.
