Grow Naturals LLP is an AgTech and phytochemical venture focused on the scientific cultivation, processing and value addition of medicinal and aromatic plants. The startup aims to bridge the gap between agricultural production and high-value wellness and botanical industries by developing traceable, quality-focused products such as essential oils, botanical extracts, oleoresins and dried plant-based products. Grow Naturals has developed an innovative Dual-Stream, zero-waste business model that seeks to maximize the utilization of the entire plant biomass. The model integrates steam distillation as a pre-treatment before solvent extraction, enabling separation of aroma and flavour components and facilitating the production of multiple value-added products from the same biomass. The startup also follows a Hybrid Contract Farming model with a dual-incentive mechanism, providing farmers with assured returns for roots/rhizomes while enabling profit sharing from value-added products derived from aerial biomass such as leaves, stems and flowers. This approach is designed to reduce agricultural waste, improve farmer value realization, strengthen raw-material traceability and create a sustainable farm-to-product value chain. Grow Naturals seeks to create scalable, sustainable and commercially viable solutions for medicinal plant-based value addition while contributing to rural livelihoods and productive agricultural manufacturing.
