Quality Process Extracting The Good, Eliminating The Bad Traditionally, the oil used in India for cooking or lighting lamps and for massages were extracted in conventional wooden mills that were rotated by bulls. During the oil extraction, there was no heat processing and thus, the nutrients remained intact in the final product. However, with modern technology and innovations, a long chemical and mechanical process of extraction was introduced. This involved treating the oil as a chemical more than a food item that we consume daily. The reason people believed that hot-processed oil is better is because they thought that traditional oils contain a lot of cholesterol. On the contrary, conventional oils contain good cholesterol (HDL) which is required by our body to maintain optimum health and balance. Pure Cold Pressed Groundnut Oil Another problem with hot-processed oil is that it is heavily refined, which means that is processed under high heat, pressure, and uses various industrial solvents like Hexane and bleaches to remove the natural flavours and colours. But in the process, important antioxidants and active principles also get removed from the oil, making them bland and nutrition-deficient. At HealthOrgOil, we only use traditional methods, known as cold-pressed or wood pressed. Before we begin the extraction, we focus on choosing premium quality raw materials. For instance, we select coconuts free from sulphur, jaggery, and cardamom for our coconut oil and high-quality groundnuts for our groundnut oil. Next, we extract the oil from the raw materials using a wooden press. The sediments in the extracted oil are allowed to settle and then the oil is filtered. We ensure that (therefore) no chemicals are used or added during the entire procedure. The oil is then packaged in premium bottles and shipped to you! Why Choose Cold-Pressed Oils?
