We are a start up focussing on providing rooftop solar solutions to the residential, industrial and commercial (RIC) sectors. While the country has seen a big jump in solar energy plants on the utility scale, the same kind of jump has not been witnessed in the smaller segment of RIC sectors on account of the following reasons: 1) Knowledge Gap: People are still not aware of the benefits introduced by the Government, like 30% upfront subsidy for certain sectors and the process of net metering. 2) Financing Gap: There has been a lot of talk about financing in the sector, but none of it has actually reached the retail client. Our goal is to provide ready made solutions to the retail/ SME client, who are generally left untouched by the Banking sector and to provide a solution such that they feel the benefit of solar from the first month. For eg. If the individual/ firm received an electricity bill of INR 100 per month, we ensure that the new electricity bill and the EMI add up to INR 80. 3) Execution/ Service Gap: We intend to introduce a process wherein from the time a person decides to get rooftop solar, it takes about 2 weeks to finance and install the plant in the house. Currently, the same can take over two months. Our aim is to create a sustainable future for our next generations and to ensure that Solar reaches all people.
