Higher Orbit Agritech Pvt Ltd aims to unlock the potential of mid-sized farms in India via mechanisation. We are currently building a farming services platform enabling mid-sized farms to achieve higher profitability. The Co-Founders are Aishwarya Ramakrishnan (B. Tech, Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science) and Kedar Gokhale (B. Tech, Mechanical Engineering) who are graduates of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Aishwarya was Co-Founder of an education non-profit, Avanti Fellows. She then joined The Boston Consulting Group in Mumbai and then moved to WestBridge Capital in Bangalore before heading to Harvard Business School in Boston, USA. She graduated in 2016 and returned immediately to India and worked with the Mahindra Group for 7 years first as Chief of Staff to Anand Mahindra and then setting up a new AgriTech venture within the Farm Equipment Sector (which is now called Krish-e). Kedar joined The Boston Consulting Group in Mumbai right after graduating from IIT Bombay and then had an Alphonso mango farm-to-fork company, Hapoos Express. He also worked for Aasaanjobs as Rural Sourcing Head. Then, Kedar founded a startup Truce (cofounded with Saurabh Jain of Stable Money) in the agri output space which he ran for 2 years and then has been with Swiggy for the last 6 years in various senior roles, the latest one heading Delivery Operations pan India. Higher Orbit Agritech Pvt Ltd will deliver Mechanization Solutions for Mid Sized Farms with a focus on Low Power Farm Machinery Products Enabled by a Robust Servicing and Financing Ecosystem.
