Ancillary units are being set up for the cases and projectiles. In the first phase only the propellant and primer will be imported which are 15 % of the Cartridge cost, the rest will all be manufactured sourced in India. Subsequently in the next phase we will develop the right quality propellant in India and only import the primer which is only 2.5 % of the Cartridge cost. Our aim is to be one of the best examples of the Make In India policy
