We are thinking to built Intelligent Transport Management System which is completely integrated - Electronic Ticketing Machine is connected with Vehicle Tracking System (Ais-140) and if provided we can connected it with CCTV with Emergency Button and Siren System (SOS) (as in BIS:16833). Above all it will be complete eco-system with in-bus Announcement and Information system and also connected with National Emergency Response System for safety of women. In simple words - system will be simple enough to run ticketing and Bus tracking system for STUs and secured enough to track untoward incidence and inform to Police etc. This system will be cost effective for City Bus Services and State Bus Services. Though there are current system Integrators who are running ITMS but no one so far has been able to make it safe enough in case of emergency and to operate as a singleton unit.
