We have created a marketplace seller application on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This product helps merchants sell their products on multiple buyer side applications in India through an open network. How does it work? ONDC is an open e-commerce network created by Govt. of India (ondc.org). Network participants consist of buyer side applications, seller side applications and logistics providers. Allows merchants to use their own delivery fleet or on-network logistics for deliveries anywhere in India. Merchants only register once with a seller side application (like us) and get listed on all buyer apps. Seller applications work with buyer applications through ONDC APIs to list the catalog and process orders. Top benefits for brands & merchants: Pay low commissions on sale (~10% of order value). Reach a much wider audience (hyper-local/PAN India) Market and sell products on n-number of buyer side applications with only a single seller side interface. Our vision is to build easy-to-use e-commerce tools for merchants and developers, to help them do business on ONDC. It's a new network and there are a lot more categories that will be enabled. Roadmap: 1. Seller side application (LIVE) - Gives us 5% commission on every sale that we process for merchants. We are trying to onboard as many merchants as we can. 2. Analytics & Marketing Tools for Enterprises (WIP) - We will earn some recurring revenue by selling ONDC based analytics to enterprises. Search keywords, product stock availability at pin-codes, competitor benchmarking etc. are some of the reports we are working on. 3. Expand into more ONDC categories (WIP) - Pharma, F&B, Financial Services, B2B. There is a lot of room to grow here. 4. Buyer side application (WIP) - We are hacking an earlier app build to make it work with ONDC. This will help earn an additional 5% commissions on every sale, plus it will give us access to seller data from across India which will help us build deeper analytics for
