IoT Solutions The Internet of Things domain, though crowded, still has a long way to go before it takes off on its hockey-stick curve. There are a lot of things that can be wrongly done while developing a product in this domain. Security of Device endpoints, be it ReST, MQTT, COAP or Websockets, is a must have. Ensuring and proving security and privacy of stored data is another uncompromisable requirement of this domain. IoT Device data is in most cases “time-series” in nature. Standard schema based databases are not the best solution for storing this kind of data. A Time-Series Database, which provides features like data-massaging, rollups and aggregations, is the need of the data. We provide a need-based end-to-end cloud solution for just this purpose. Over the past 4 years of working in this domain, our team has been able to list and follow a set of best practices for a Cloud based IoT solution.
