Jaljeevan Agro Tech Pvt Ltd (JATPL) is a closely held private limited company incorporated on 12th March 2021 and promoted by Mr. Naresh Sahebrao Awchar, Founder and Mr. Ganesh Sahebrao Awchar, Co-Founder. JATPL is 90% held by Scheduled Caste promoters. The objective of JATPL is to carry on the business of manufacturing, dealing, trading, distributing, marketing Rubber Tailpiece used in farms for agriculture pipelines. The main promoter Mr. Naresh Sahebrao Awchar belongs to the family of agriculturists. While working on the farm, he noticed that the gasket in the tailpiece deteriorates fast and therefore water gets wasted. Also, the product needed a quick replacement. Therefore, he came up with the idea that if a tailpiece is made with a full rubber coating, then there would be chances to save water and the life of the tailpiece would also increase which will be beneficial for the farmer. With this view, he started researching the product and developed a prototype that has been tested locally by the promoter. To get technical support, the Company got associated with MIT Pune - TBI. The Company has executed an Incubation Agreement with MIT Pune - TBI for an incubation period of 3 years starting from 21st June 2021 to 20th June 2024, subject to further extension if so required, for the development of his idea to manufacture Rubber Tailpieces used in a farm to save water.
