JBPCO India is a private limited company incorporated on June 22, 2021, under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and is a part of the JBP group of companies. JBP India is a wholly owned subsidiary of JB Poindexter & Co. Inc. located in Houston, Texas, USA. JBPCO India is primarily engaged in rendering engineering & design services and other shared services to JBPCO US. Being an extended arm of JBPCO US, it generally takes care of engineering support and related design needs of the truck bodies to be manufactured at JBPCO US. Further, it also provides IT and IT support services and other support in HR, F&A, sourcing etc. which can be principally grouped under back-office support Services. JBPCO India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the JB Poindexter & Co. Inc. Accordingly, JBPCO US constitute JBP India’s Associated Enterprise by virtue of control and capital as per the Indian transfer pricing provisions under Income-tax Act, 1961. During FY 2021-22, JBP India has undertaken certain international transactions with its Associated Enterprise.
