An Innovative Start-Up idea in Ultra-Pure Lab Water Purification Systems. Ultrapure water (UPW) is water that has been purified to very strict specifications, containing by definition only H20, and H+ and OH- ions in equilibrium. Therefore, ultrapure water conductivity is about 0,055 uS/cm at 25oC, also expressed as resistivity of 18,2 MOhm. Ultrapure water is an essential and critical reagent used in many highly sensitive scientific applications like HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, GFAAS, PCR and mammalian cell culture, as well as clinical analyzers. UPW is used in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries the most, though it’s an ideal solution for any work in the lab. Its level of purification makes it versatile for highly sensitive applications. Applications that use UPW include: High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Liquid Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (GFAAS) Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Immunochemistry (ICC) Mammalian cell culture Clinical analyzers Trace Analysis Foreign companies have been already captured more than 90% of Indian market in the field of Ultrapure Lab Water systems and surprisingly these all companies are selling their product and spares/ consumables at more than 10 to 50 times higher of their actual production cost. Present Indian contribution in producing Ultrapure Lab Water Systems- Till date only 2-3 Indian companies are there in the field of Ultrapure lab Water Systems. Ultrapure water is mainly used in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industry. India the fastest growing economy of the entire world in the year 2023. There are many lakhs of Chromatography labs are already present in our country which uses Ultrapure Lab Water Systems and it’s regularly increasing by the rate of minimum of 20% every year. So, there is a huge ongoing requirement of Ultrapure Lab Water Systems and its spares. How can the JD Water Treatment Pvt Ltd enters into this segment? Deepak Sharma The Director of JD Water Treatment Pvt Ltd is having more than 24 years of experience in the field of clear and wastewater treatment. He is already running a company name Water Treatment Expert Inc., a sole proprietorship company since 2006 and successfully installed and commissioned so many Ultra-Pure Lab Water Systems in various prestigious government organizations like ISRO, BARC-Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, NPCIL, Naval Material Research Laboratory, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, INHS Patanjali, DMRL, Department of Atomic Energy etc. There are much more to say about our vision, product categories, market to capture etc. In Make in India vision, we will manufacture the whole unit here at very competitive price and will sale with a healthy margin.
