Traditional textile printing in hubs like Surat relies on rotary and flatbed dyeing, consuming millions of liters of water daily and discharging toxic chemical waste into water bodies. Furthermore, traditional Indian heritage prints are becoming less wearable for modern women due to uncomfortable, heavy fabrics and silhouettes that are unsuited for India’s rising temperatures and fast-paced lifestyle. We use waterless sublimation technology and eco-friendly inks, eliminating water pollution and reducing the carbon footprint of production. Our design intervention transforms traditional motifs into modern, comfortable silhouettes like "Heritage Shirts" made from breathable, sustainable fabrics. This makes Indian culture wearable daily, offering comfort without sacrificing our rich ethnic identity. Our innovation lies in the "Process-to-Product" shift. We are replacing the century-old, water-intensive dyeing process with high-precision digital sublimation in a small-batch, zero-waste model. Unlike mass-produced western wear, we use technology to "modernize" heritage prints, ensuring traditional Indian craftsmanship survives through functional, contemporary apparel that suits the Indian climate. Jivom operates a dual-revenue model: 1) B2B digital printing services for designers seeking sustainable, small-batch production, and 2) A D2C brand selling modern heritage apparel (Saris, Shirts, Kurtas). Our model is highly scalable as digital printing allows for rapid design iteration and "Print-on-Demand," reducing inventory risk and allowing for global expansion through e-commerce.
