Kaarak works on the model of collecting the surplus stock from export houses/ boutiques/ brands to create home furnishing products and after the consumer has used the product and it starts to wear out, they can send it back to Kaarak and Kaarak then will recreate a new product from the old ones for the consumer. Kaarak is an all women organisation where all the products are handcrafted by the women artisans. The training on the traditional artforms to the women artisans are provided by the available inhouse knowledge/ resource.
