Our proposed unit aims to recover impure carbon dioxide, a by-product of grain-based ethanol distilleries, and convert it into purified, marketable liquefied CO₂, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to the circular economy. This eco-friendly initiative transforms industrial waste into a valuable input for the industrial and beverage sectors while promoting carbon efficiency. At full capacity, the project will generate direct and indirect employment for about 30 skilled, semi-skilled, and managerial staff, positively impacting nearly 120 individuals and supporting the education of around 60 children, thus fostering long-term socio-economic growth. Additionally, by reducing reliance on fuel-based CO₂ production methods such as diesel combustion, the unit will help the country save foreign exchange and strengthen sustainable industrial practices.
