We at KAEDET SOLUTIONS LLP are venturing into manufacturing of "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES": Seat belts are essential safety equipment. For driver and front seat passengers these are mandatory. There are basically two types of seat belts namely Lap Belts (2 Point Seat Belts) and Shoulder Belts (3 Point Seat Belts) We shall manufacture these seatbelts which are widely used on passenger seats of the buses and cars. Automobile standard for buses (AIS-052) and for school buses (AIS-060) recommends use of safety belts for passenger seat of buses. These belts are to be certified by The Automobile Research Association of India (ARAI) in accordance to Indian Standard (IS-15140:2018) Potential: As on date, passenger seat belt of good quality is imported from China and is used by OE’s. Therefore, development of same seat-belt with excellent quality standard, innovation and cost competitive product and with Indian Certification from ARAI or equivalent will be an added advantage and will help us achieving CoP (Conformity of Production) standards. Innovation Product Innovation has been achieved during design and development of the seat belt. In the second phase of the project, during which we are targeting the development of retractable three-point seat belt, more emphasis will be on innovation as these belts require special SPM (Special Purpose Machines) machines for retractable action of the belt.
