We are creating an ever-growing network of entrepreneurs primarily in, but not limited to, rural & semi-urban markets. We currently have more than 150 centres in Odisha and are working very hard to create at least 500 entrepreneurs across Odisha within this fiscal. We have also started operations in West Bengal, and intend to have our footprints in Chattisgarh, Assam, & Tripura very soon. The selection process is very meticulous and we hand-pick entrepreneurs with requisite education and acumen after thorough counselling. The outlets are called Atmanirbhar Kendras and we also have a layer of entrepreneur mentors to handle a network of kendras each, who we call Margdarshaks. Once on-boarded, these entrepreneurs have access to a variety of products and services through our unified portal – www.atmanirbharkendra.com. There are regular training and hand-holding sessions for the entrepreneurs once they are on-boarded. This is a participative model where we encourage the entrepreneurs to highlight the needs and peculiarities of their markets so that we can tailor the offerings to their best advantage. The idea is not merely to create a network of entrepreneurs but also mentor them suitably to ensure that they earn sufficiently by running their enterprise successfully. We are currently incubated with and operating out of the KIIT-TBI, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
