India's challenge is not only to mine more. It is to extract more usable value from every tonne already mined. Kallpa through its technology NovaX enables dry, at-source beneficiation of coal and mineral feedstocks, helping reduce avoidable waste movement, water dependence, logistics load, and downstream processing inefficiency. NovaX works across ferrous and non-ferrous ores including iron ore, bauxite, manganese ore, chromite, limestone, copper, zinc-lead ore, gold, lignite, and other mineral commodities, subject to ore-specific testing and calibration; the underlying dry beneficiation technology is applicable to ferrous and non-ferrous ores found globally, not only in India. Coal beneficiation, across thermal, coking, and lignite grades, is our primary commercial focus given the scale and immediacy of the opportunity, but the platform serves all mineral ore sorting markets. NovaX sorts ore from gangue at the single-particle level, at 200 particles per second, in real time, with no water, no chemical inputs, and no tailings, built on X-ray Transmission (XRT) sensing technology with a global installed base of 500+ systems in comparable operations globally. The system is AI-guided, designed for pithead deployment, and fully relocatable. Unlike a conventional washery which is a permanent fixed installation, NovaX can be dismantled and redeployed as mining operations move, protecting capital investment across the full life of a mine. Novasensa is the single accountable partner for feed testing, process design, calibration, deployment, and performance across the system's life. India currently beneficiates less than 15% of its coal, well below levels achieved by other major coal-producing economies. Kallpa addresses this gap directly at the point of extraction by its NovaX technology.
