KAPS Green Energy is a climate-tech venture focused on transforming organic waste into clean, renewable energy through decentralized biogas infrastructure. The company operates at the intersection of waste management, circular economy, and sustainable energy, with a mission to reduce landfill dependency and methane emissions while creating economically viable resource recovery systems. Our core solution involves the design, development, and operation of biogas plants that process segregated organic waste—such as municipal wet waste, food waste, and agro-residue—into biogas and nutrient-rich bio-slurry. The biogas is further refined and utilized as a clean fuel alternative, while the by-products are repurposed as organic fertilizers, ensuring zero-waste discharge. KAPS Green Energy is currently implementing projects under public-private partnership (PPP) models, working closely with urban local bodies to enable scientific waste processing and decentralized energy generation. The venture emphasizes operational efficiency, feedstock optimization, and process stability to ensure consistent gas output and financial sustainability. Through its work, KAPS Green Energy contributes directly to climate mitigation by avoiding methane emissions, reducing fossil fuel dependency, and promoting circular resource utilization. The long-term vision is to develop a network of decentralized bioenergy assets that support India’s transition towards a low-carbon and zero-landfill future.
