It is well-positioned for recognition and support under the Startup India initiative. KGEBP will set up a waste based compressed biogas plant with 2000 Kg Bio CNG production capacity daily. It intends to construct a biogas plant of 5000 CUM capacity to generate biogas from waste like cow dung, poultry droppings, press mud, Agri Waste etc. The company will also set up a Biogas scrubber system for a total output of 2000 Kg Bio CNG daily. Also, a simple and robust technology for Biogas Compressor will be used. Almost 30% of the cost of generation will be returned to the local economy through purchase of cow dung and other waste hence creating employment for the local people. A long-term purchase agreement will be signed with Indian Oil Limited on fixed rates and with the farmers for use of organic manure.
