At KAVS, we develop food products for new-age demands without compromising on nutrition and quality. We stick to our roots of eating healthy, natural food but in new formats befitting today’s needs. The Products in the supermarket are too full of fillers made from Starch, Emulsified Oil, Sugar(or corn syrup), and other unhealthy ingredients. This is done likely to add body and lessen cost. Coupled with the demand for these products due to increasingly busy lifestyles, this practice will have long-reaching consequences for public health and well-being. Palm Oil and Sugar production industries are very damaging to the environment. It is no wonder there has been an alarming increase in obesity and diabetes in India in recent years. Most palm oil is imported into India as is Sugar. Instead of using these ingredients which are bad for the environment, individual health, and the country’s self-reliance, our approach of using homegrown, water-rich vegetables to create low-calorie, nutrient-rich fillers for the food industry is a viable and valuable alternative. Our Proprietary NutriCraft technology removes the need for oil/heavy fats to create smooth/creamy textures in food. NutriCraft forms the base of all our products and is made of 80% Vegetable, 20%milk, 0%oil. It is naturally very low in Calories and fats, High in fiber, protein, calcium, and micronutrients. It is low in Sodium and has no added sugars. NutriCraft looks feels and tastes just like Mayonnaise but without any of the greasy after-feel of Mayo. Compared to Mayonnaise which averages at 500KCal/100gms, NutriCraft is less than 100KCal/100gm. It is also very versatile and can be made into Dips, Sauces, Sandwich Spreads, Pasta/PIzza Sauces, Salad Dressings, Instant Batters, Chocolate/nut/fruit sweet spreads, and even icecream! Using NutriCraft, we craft natural, healthy, low-fat, clean alternatives for the burgeoning Condiments/Ready-to-Cook/Ready-To-Eat market in India.
