Kisanmart Agriventures Private Limited is an AgriTech startup focused on developing innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions that improve soil health, reduce input costs for farmers, and promote environmentally responsible farming practices. The company is working on research and manufacturing of advanced organic agricultural inputs such as organic fertilizers, biostimulants, and bio-pesticides. A key innovation being developed by the company is a high-efficiency organic fertilizer formulation designed to significantly reduce the dosage requirement. While traditional organic fertilizers require approximately 400 kg to 1 ton per acre, Kisanmart aims to develop formulations requiring only 50–100 kg per acre, making organic farming more affordable, scalable, and practical for farmers. Alongside product innovation, the company is developing a technology-driven digital crop management platform that provides farmers with an AI-enabled crop calendar. The system analyzes weather conditions, soil health data, crop cycles, and location-based information to guide farmers from field preparation to harvesting and residue management. It also recommends integrated nutrient management and integrated pest management practices to optimize productivity while reducing excessive chemical usage. To ensure accessibility for farmers with limited digital literacy, the company plans to establish Kisanmart franchise service centers operated by agriculture graduates. These centers will assist farmers with advisory services, soil testing support, input recommendations, and access to agricultural products through an e-commerce fulfillment model. Through this integrated model of agricultural innovation, digital advisory services, and rural entrepreneurship, Kisanmart Agriventures aims to enhance farm productivity, reduce environmental impact, create rural employment opportunities, and support the long-term sustainability of Indian agriculture.
