In their own words

Our startup was founded with a mission to create a sustainable, affordable, and scalable alternative to single-use plastics. India generates nearly 9–10 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, of which around 40% remains unrecycled and causes severe ecological damage — from choking drains and harming cattle to microplastics entering the human food chain. While paper bags have emerged as an alternative, they are often weak, non-resistant, and single-use, or laminated with hidden plastic layers that defeat the purpose. Premium bio-starch bags exist, but they are costly and unsuitable for widespread adoption. We are addressing this gap through an innovative bio-coating formulation applied to recycled kraft paper. This transforms low-value recycled paper into premium, glossy, strong, water/oil/heat resistant, and printing-friendly bags, without using any plastic. The bags can be reused 10–12 times, reducing wastage by nearly 90% compared to single-use alternatives. By leveraging recycled paper, our solution also contributes to waste-to-value circular economy, minimizing dependence on virgin kraft paper and managing paper waste effectively.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
