“KSPKANIMAM MINERALS PRIVATE LIMITED” aims to solve the emerging issue of sand extraction by providing alternative mineral to address potential environment impact. With urban development acting as one of the key indicators of the growth of Indian economy, infrastructure and real estate play a vital role as a measure of growth. However, sand which is the backbone of the construction has become a problematic resource to procure in India. The Startup thus aims to provide an alternative mineral, that is, M-Sand with the designated excellence of granite which has durable physical and chemical properties for the building of concrete structures thus allowing such structures to be environmentally sustainable and further prevent the weathering of reinforced steel by reducing permeability, moisture ingress thereby improving the longevity of concrete structures. Further, due to fast-growing construction industry, the demand for sand has increased tremendously causing deficiency of suitable river sand, and destructing the riverine ecosystem by sand mining, the startup aims to solve the rapid environmental degradation like ground water depletion, water scarcity by producing M-Sand in a unique method thereby using a more ecofriendly and cost effective resource and offering higher flexural strength, better abrasion resistance, higher unit weight and lower permeability.
