About Startup (Description field) Kubear is a household financial management platform that gives Indian families a single, unified view of their money. The platform aggregates bank accounts, EMIs, SIPs, insurance, and savings goals across all household members and computes one safe-to-spend number each month after all fixed obligations are accounted for. Users interact with their finances through a conversational AI interface in Hindi and English, asking questions in plain language and receiving real-time answers without dashboards, manual categorisation, or financial literacy requirements. Bank data is fetched through RBI's Account Aggregator framework on a user-consent basis. The platform also computes a Kubear Score, a composite financial health metric across cash flow, savings rate, goal progress, and debt load, and rewards users for saving behaviour through a points-based system called Khazana. Kubear is incorporated as a Private Limited company in India and is currently pre-revenue, with the core product live. The primary target segment is dual-income, salaried households in Tier-1 cities. The business model combines a freemium subscription structure (Free, Solo at Rs. 99/month, Family at Rs. 199/month, and Corporate wellness at Rs. 110/seat/month) with distribution commissions from mutual funds, insurance, and digital gold. Kubear does not lend, hold deposits, or carry credit risk. The go-to-market strategy is led by a B2B corporate wellness channel, where employers fund employee subscriptions as a financial benefit.
