Why now: Even as few as five years ago in India, people felt they had to go to a store to understand what cosmetics were available to buy, however globally brands and retailers offline are dying. Hence most brands don't want to invest in offline infrastructure. So the challenge is how to help users discover their beauty products online and replicate the same emotional impact as handing the customer a shopping bag in a physical store.
