Kutumb aims to provide one stop solutions to migrant blue-collar workers (called as Citymakers) in cities closer to their workplace by standardizing the services including using technology. Large number of migrants/ Citymakers come to the city and put their hard work and skill to make the city, build the city. These migrant workers shall be called as “City Maker”. Though they put their sweat and blood but get a meagre income. They face several challenges in the destination like accommodation, food, sanitation, drinking water, etc. Either youth are forced to stay with lot more difficulties or forced to return. One study finds that 23% leave the work and go back to home. This affects the livelihood of the person and productivity in the city. Kutumb shall set up a hotel for citymakers. The objective is to provide one stop solution for all city makers, closer to their work station in an affordable price. The services include hygiene accommodation, food, sanitation, etc. It would also provide an opportunity for advanced skill training. In addition to the Decent work, Kutumb shall provide their Decent living to migrant workers. Kutumb has identified key challenges faced by Indian performing artists in particularly and all artists in general. They struggle to get their name, get decent work and adequate compensation. Other hand, the patrons are looking for quality and authentic content. Therefore, Kutumb has developed a platform (www.eKalakaar.com) to bring together all stakeholders into one platform, help them for making impressive profile, create more opportunities for them and create quality content for all.
