In the mad race to succeed in this increasingly material world, people seem to be losing the very purpose in life. While they are driven by the goal to make a better life for themselves and their families, they get so lost trying to keep up and outpace the growing demands of societal and professional pressures, they forget that the very goal to make a better life is actually being defeated. Somewhere along the way, the meaning of a “better life” gets translated to earning more and more money. Overpowered with this misleading definition of wealth, they put their body and soul to such levels of stress that the peace of mind is all but lost. Living in deep silos and internal voids, depression is on the rise. Societies are becoming intolerant and people are becoming selfish. Empathy, compassion and a feeling of brotherhood which is the basis of all human civilization has taken a back seat. There is no denying that the social fibre is getting weaker day by day as social & marital discords are common. Children are becoming aloof, lonely and violent in the given social and familial set-up. The mission of Laasye is to make a humble attempt at guiding and nudging these lost souls back to their original purpose in life – finding peace! Laasye aims to achieve this through the path of spiritual healing and art and culture play a very important role in the spiritual growth of a human being. We want to offer such opportunities to the community where one could immerse oneself in an environment in which one could unwind from the myriad of futile thoughts and stresses of daily life, and find joy through peace!
